Awesome job on the new Sabbath, Michael!! Thanks!! Empire sounds good, too. The ONLY thing I could ask for is the talking part be removed, and replaced with the "lyrics" so the singer can do that part. Kind of messes with the continuity. Could a full karaoke version of that be released??

You don't like the All Hits version of Kashmir?

I thought it sounded good. Just way too long.

i UNDERSTAND SOMEONE WANTING THE SONG but there are very few people out there who can sing Zeppelin songs effectively. I wonder how well the SC Zeppelin disc sold when it came out? KJs probably jumped all over it but it probably gets used very rarely. The average guy can't sing anything by Robert Plant, or Meatloaf, or Steve Perry etc. That's why DK lowered the key on so many songs and people still used their key changers to lower them even more.

Pessimist, huh. I can sing Zeppelin, AND Meat Loaf effectively. I can sing some Journey. I don't know where you are from, but where I come from we HAVE Zeppelin singers, that are quite good.

a few is what I'm talking about. Just about Every guy can sing a Toby Keith song or a Elton John song. It's a rare bunch that can sing in that high range and I wish I were one of them but I'm not. Since I could never sing those high range songs; I have no idea why the Sound Choice tracks are not good enough for some people. I think some people are just too picky when it comes to their karaoke tracks. I could see it I guess if the music sounded like someone played it on a casio keyboard but I don't think Sound Choice ever did that.

The only issue I have had with SC's version of Journey songs has been accuracy of the lyrics and that was only one song, Faithfully.

Have you ever heard Zoom's version of Stairway?? You may as well be singing the song straight off the album. It is THAT good. I have sung mist of the karaoke versions of Stairway, NONE of them are remotely as good as Zoom's. That is what I want in Kashmir. That song is too iconic to have a mediocre version.

If they don't work for u...that's fine but every show is different..I support other peoples request...Broadway deserves the same respect.

I agree with you Lonnie, but veiled comments such as this,
Quote:
I don't have any of those songs listed in my song books, but my singers know to just ask me if I have it. I don't encourage show tunes because for the most part they don't add to the fun.
are not very supportive to someone who is asking for specific songs or types of music. Let the Manufacturer make a decision either by deciding to go with the amount of votes a song gets, or maybe even deciding to take a gamble that even one request might be worth a shot (or not). I've had several requests (not just song requests) that were put down from some forum members here, and it wasn't done respectfully. Sometimes, if you don't support someone else's requests, it is better to just say nothing at all.
