Downloads from Custom Burn have been available for at least a year.

DMX did say their tracks would be available on an American website too - has this not materialised yet?.

With the deathgrip that the US music publishers seem to be putting on karaoke music, he is probably having a really tough time getting the licensing he needs.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.. The music industry are greedy, evil, scum of the earth and if it weren't for the fact that it generates thousand of jobs, including ours I would wish each and every last one of them a slow painful death.

Who me bitter? Absolutely!

I know it's been some time since I posted and I thought I would give you a brief update. As some of you have noticed, we have been steadily adding tracks to the Customburn site in the UK. Our hope was that we could make a deal with a US site as well but it appears as though the legal hurdles and changing landscape with the few companies left are making this very difficult. I am not giving up and will continue to pursue my options.

In the meantime, you may find it interesting that all karaoke manufacturers and suppliers who licence under the PRS in the UK, have been notified this week that the so called "no fly" list which has been in place in the US - is now being enforced in the UK as well. A July 1 deadline has been imposed and all songs by restricted artists/writers must be removed by then.

This applies to downloads and streaming services but not custom discs. I am sure you can imagine that UK suppliers are not too happy about this! I suppose we should be grateful that we are at least being given a few weeks to comply rather than days which is what they do stateside!

Their web page appears to have fallen by the wayside but their tracks are still on Custom Burn.
