Yeah, it came back. I don't use them much, but they are useful on occasion.

It's getting close to the end of the month. They should be coming out with a dozen or more new tracks soon. They always come out with a few good ones. I keep waiting for a song by Kip Moore called "RUNNING FOR YOU". I got my fingers crossed.

I never listened to any of their stuff until now. This thread prompted me to do so. All I can say is..

Seriously??? Their stuff is terrible!!! If they were the last supplier of karaoke downloads left on earth, I would get out of the business before using them.

Their stuff is mostly old dead brands like Radio Starz.

This used to be the ONLY version of this song until a couple years ago. But yes it's one of the few that SGB is good on.

Wow ... Never heard this until now. I used to DJ a club in NC late 80's into the 90's and she was a bartender. She was Tiffany Jones back then though. Didn't actually become Chasey until she moved to Florida and started stripping. I still remember the local Movie Rental Store having her movies in the back with signs like "Hometown Girl". All on VHS back then of course.

I've had a singer get pretty excited over ZZ Top's "Mexican Blackbird" as well. I still think SGB is the only company to cover it.

Whether you want it on your book or not is another question. After hearing the lyrics I removed it along with Chaisey Lane...

Those two songs aren't even in the same catagory.

One's racially offensive, the other is merely extremely crude. But I don't list either.

Chasey Lain isn't listed because of our language restriction - primarily the F Bomb reference kills it dead to begin with.
The other is fine. If you are going to start pulling songs to be politically correct, there are literally thousands of songs to start pulling. Not going to single any one specifically.

I'm not PC per se. I have songs that were sung by hip hop artists that use the n word in my collection.

I just try to avoid a situation that might be hurtful to a customer.

So if I'm playing an urban club and an African American customer wants to sing a rap song by Coolio that uses the n word that's one thing whereas if a Caucasian customer wants to sing a David Allan Coe song that uses the n word I'd really prefer they not do that because of how the intent of that same word might create anger and misunderstandings that I'd just as soon avoid.

you're more PC than you think. You're willing to appease your African American singers but not your Red Neck American singers.
