I only saw 6 FBI cases involving trademarks in all of 2015. I would say they don't consider trademark infringement a very serious crime compared with other crimes. How many people have died, or were severely injured, as a result of trademark infringement?

It's all wishful thinking. What happens in England doesn't mean squat here in the states.

I'm going to say that I want the FBI to be focused on that terrorist thing instead of trying to catch folks copying karaoke files. I understand it's a problem but let's get our priorities in order.

Yes I too want the FBI doing more on terrorists. That is why I said Local or State cops working on the problem. You notice in the UK it was not MI6 or Scotland Yard but the local police in a special unit.

I don't think it matters for the forces to shut these down because they pop up everywhere.

As long as Music producers provide background tracks, there will always be those making the karaoke file for them.

They should have "banned" the tools to make them if this was a big issue to them.

Along that line of thinking you could say, "Why not ban all ripping programs, computer karaoke programs, and the list goes on", problem is the programs are not illegal its what you do with them. Kinda like owning a gun. Not illegal to own but it is if you use it to shoot someone.
