I know this might get moved to the KJ Private section but here goes. Since several venues in the Knoxville, Tennessee area have been named in an infringement suit brought by Sound Choice I and am %100 and dics based and for sure legal, I felt that the general public should know about the suit. I guess the bars and KJs that are possibly illegal in my area might like to know as well, sssooooooo I called the local paper and one of the major TV news outlets. The paper blew me off but a TV station reporter called me back to get a little more info. After I emailed him some background of the local suit and general info about piracy he was more than interested. On Friday, I had a face to face meeting with the reporter and his producer and they have decided to come out to my show on wednesday and do a story about piracy. I called the bar and they are happy since it might give them some positive FREE publicity as well. The story will run at the end of the week I hope during prime time. I'll let everyone know how it turns out Wednesday night. |
